Avenue Louis Bertrand 61, 1030 Schaerbeek -
Chabrol opened in January 2020 on the initiative of two sisters, Sophie and Marie. One is serving in the restaurant, the other cooks in the kitchen, They offer tasty, generous cuisine with products from regional producers that are respectful of the environment and humans. Chabrol really wants to be a neighbourhood restaurant for everyone, you'll quickly find yourself at ease. You can enjoy a nicely priced lunch (starter / main / dessert menu at 18 euros) which changes every day. Go there in the evening to enjoy the art-deco ornamentation and the friendly service and a short but creative menu of vegetarian dishes. The drinks menu is made up of beers from local breweries, wines selected by Jean Louis from Passion for Wine (place Colignon) and Joran cider (Cidrothèque Rue Jacques Jansen).
What was your motivation for opening a restaurant?
We always enjoyed tasty food and good drinks. Our parents and grandparents have given us a certain sense of conviviality: we love welcoming our guests, bringing them around the same table and making them comfortable and making them feel at home. We believe that a fork can be as powerful as a ballot and we want to be part of the transition to a sustainable and fair food system.
