Who is Quentin van den Hove?
Quentin is a father of two, passionate about technology, and deputy mayor of Schaerbeek, the 6th biggest municipality in Belgium.

Quentin's political engagement began in 2006 when he took on the presidency of the local section of Open Vld in Schaerbeek. Throughout that time, Quentin remained tremendously socially engaged in various neighborhood associations. In 2010 Quentin became vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brussels public company Finance&Invest Brussels.
The liberal wind Quentin blew in Schaerbeek paid off as he was elected city councilman in 2012. At the same time, Quentin became a member of the Police Council in Schaerbeek.

Quentin, who is part of the so-called 'Liste du Bourgmestre' with Open Vld in Schaerbeek, obtained 847 preferential votes during the municipal elections of 2018. That was enough to take up the office of deputy mayor of Schaerbeek. As a deputy mayor, Quentin has a broad portfolio. Among other things, he is responsible for the population, international relations, civil status, and honorary services.

Quentin has a big heart for Schaerbeek. In 2020, for example, he founded 'Shop1030", an entrepreneurial platform that brings together Schaerbeek merchants.

Quentin wants to carry out the office as deputy mayor with full conviction. Therefore, he temporarily stepped aside at his previous employer, the Belgian multinational AGFA NV, where he has over 20 years of experience.

Quentin is a scout at heart and loves sports. Quentin can enjoy long bike rides and hikes or playing tennis and swimming. Additionally, he is a great art and design enthusiast enjoys patrimony and music.
